This policy brief highlights the gender dimensions of climate change in the context of the Madhya Pradesh State Action Plan on Climate Change (MPSAPCC) and gives specific suggestions on how some of the adaptation-focused plans programmes and schemes can be made more gender-responsive. This brief draws upon field-based evidence from within the State, published literature and adaptation strategies outlined in the MPSAPCC.
